Benue State Commissioner for Education, Dr Saawuan Tarnongu has called on his kinsmen to mobilise for the 2023 general elections by going out to collect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs).
The commissioner made the call Thursday during an interface with the people of Onmbatyo in Gungul, Shangev-Tiev, Konshisha Local Government Area.
He charged them to go out and collect their PVCs as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is set to begin distribution of PVCs on December 12, 2022 to January 22, 2023, stressing that it is the only way for them to vote.
Dr Tarnongu, who intimated his people about the 2023 general elections said, it was incumbent on him to prepare them for the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking further, the commissioner called on them to join him and mobilize support to all the candidates on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He also informed them that the election is going to be a different one so each and every one of them should be ready for it, stating that they should prepare their minds ahead of it.
