Taraba State Governor, Dr Kefas Agbu said his administration is poised to transform the state and touch lives of the citizens.
Dr Agbu revealed this on Tuesday at the Exco chambers, Government House, Jalingo while briefing lawmakers and journalists on his achievements in office so far.
The governor, who promised to improve on the standard of living of the people assured that they will work hard to justify the confidence reposed in them by the people through their votes, saying they cannot afford to betray them.
He further assured that they will touch every sector of the economy and called on the people to access him within the first 100 days in office and point out where there is need for improvement in his polices and activities so that he can adjust for the better, assuring that he will fulfill all his campaign promises and even go beyond in order to make a difference.
Governor Agbu expressed the determination of his administration to make education free in order to have a well informed society to enhance progress and development.
Fielding questions from journalists, the governor said education is the bedrock of development and stressed the need to invest in it.
Dr Agbu said development of any society is the collective responsibility of all citizens and sued for their support.
On security, the governor assured that he is collaborating with security agents to clamp down on hoodlums.
The governor said his government would step up action and complete projects that have direct bearing on the people.
He called on the people of Taraba to initiate ideas that would move the state forward.
