The Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has approved new appointments into the Benue State Local Government Service Commission (LGSC).
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Tersoo Kula and made available to newsmen gave names of the appointees and their portfolios to include: James Ivever -Chairman, Humbe Mkena -Commissioner I, Nicholas Gyegwe -Commissioner II, Sule Ujah -Commissioner III and Scholastica Lyam -Commissioner IV
Similarly, the governor has approved the appointment of the following people to serve as Principal Special Assistants (PSAs) on Community Relations.
They are: Otitolaiye Stephen – Principal Special Assistant (PSA) Community Liaison (Yoruba), Hon. Iwuchukwu Moses – Principal Special Assistant (PSA) Community Liaison (Igbo) as well as Hon. Baba Sallau Mohammed- Principal Special Assistant (PSA) Community Liaison (Hausa).
According to the statement, the Governor believes that the new appointees are well qualified and capable of carrying out their duties effectively, considering their qualifications and past achievements.
While congratulating them on their new appointments, the Governor urged them to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the mission, vision, and specific principles that aligns with his administration’s policy objectives.
He also charged them to be loyal to the administration and prioritize the interest of the state in all their actions and decisions.
