The Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia is to swear in new Commissioners and Special Advisers on Tuesday, 29th August, 2023.
According to a statement signed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Sir Tersoo Kula and made available to newsmen, the event is scheduled to hold at the New Banquet Hall, Government House, Makurdi, Benue State by 10:00am.
Commissioners to be sworn in as contained in the statement include: Joyce Luga – Gboko, Hon. Barr. Omale Omale -Apa, Hon. Dr. Yanmar M. Ortese -Guma, Rev. Dr. Frederick Ikyaan – Gwer-West, Hon. Ugwu Odoh- Ogbadibo, Hon. Kwaghba Amande – Katsina-Ala and Hon Matthew Aboh – Ukum
Others are Hon. Tiza Imojime -Buruku, Hon. Aondowase Kunde – Konshisha, Hon. Prof. Moses Ogbaji -Oju, Barr. Martin Shaager- Ushongo, Hon. Michael Oglegba – Otukpo, Hon. Ann Itodo – Okpokwu, Hon. Barr. Fidelis Mnyim – Makurdi, Rt. Hon. Terkimbi Ikyange -Ushongo and Rt. Hon. Nick Oworo -Obi as well as Hon. Alumo Orpin – Tarka
The statement also notes that the event is strictly by invitation and each nominee to be sworn-in is allowed to come to the venue with a maximum of two guests.
