A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Moses Ayom has been appointed Patron of the Performing Musician Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) in Benue State.
Performing the investiture ceremony in Makurdi, the State Chairman of PMAN, Chief Fabian Terseer Yaga explained that the appointment of Ayom was imperative due to his numerous contributions to growth of entertainment in the state and country.
According to Yaga, Ayom is a pillar and has consistently ensured that the PMAN is moved to global state, not just in promoting entertainers but ensuring the desired development is achieved.
“PMAN extolled Chief Ayom as someone whose love for the entertainment industry cannot be overemphasized. He is truly a shoulder to rely on.
“The entertainment industry is one of the major contributors to the nation’s financial growth.
“All we need is to get the right people to explore the creativity industry. This, a weight has been placed on you and we look up to your guidance,” Yaga stated.
In his acceptance, Mr. Moses Ayom said he was honoured by the gesture and said it would spur him to do more in the development of entertainment, culture and tourism industry in the state and country.
