The Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly, Lubem Tiav has resigned his appointment

Tiav, in a letter addressed to the Speaker, cited personal and family reasons as being the brain behind his resignation.

He expressed appreciation to the Speaker for the opportunity to serve him. Tiav was appointed Chief Press Secretary in July, 2019 and until his appointment, was a staff of Radio Benue, Makurdi.

Effort to reach the speaker for his reaction was unsuccessful as his Principal Personal Assistant, Jacob Angor who was contacted via telephone promised to call back but did not at the time of filing this report.
