The Executive Chairman, Benue State Internal Revenue Service (BIRS), Mrs Mimi Adzape-Orubibi has been commended for her digital expertise and strides at the service.
The commendation was given at the recent 4th Technical Meeting of Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) for IGR Desk Officers in Abuja.
According to Mrs Adzape-Orubibi’s

He said: “The tax digitalised feat was made possible by Mrs Orubibi’s administration which has led to e-receipting, e-verification, e-reporting, e-TCC, e-payments, and seamless fund, improving the revenue administration of the state, including the integration of TIN and TCC with the Joint Tax Board platform.
“This presentation led to standing ovation with a thunderous applause in honour of the Tax Amazon for putting Benue State ahead of other states in the country in the digitalisation of revenue administration.”
Mr Suswam added that, speakers and other stakeholders at the meeting all called on other states to emulate the innovation of BIRS in tax administration.
