The 12 slained members of the military operation tagged Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) that were killed in Bonta, Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State are slated for burial Monday.

The 12 military officers were killed by bandits when they were on official patrol during the crisis between Bonta and Okpute Ainu communities of Konshisha and Oju Local Government Areas of the state respectively.

Governor Samuel Ortom and his EXCO members are present for burial.
