The Benue State House of Assembly (BSHOA) has confirmed Governor Samuel Ortom’s nominee, Barr. Une Benjamin for appointment as member, Benue State Judicial Service Commission
In a letter sent to the House and read to members by the Speaker, Hon. Titus Uba, the Governor requested for screening and confirmation of the appointment to fill the vacuum at the commission
Barr. Une hails from Gwer West Local Government Area. Until his appointment, he was the General Manager, Crown Publishers, Nigeria Limited and Principal Partner, Benjamin Une & Co
Meanwhile, the reports of the House Standing Committee on Public Petitions, Bills Reviews and Appraisal on a petition by H.B Otache titled ” unfair, unjust and deliberate refusal to implement my promotion from grade level 15 to grade level 16; and another one by Engr. Agia Terngu titled ” petition against wrongful withdrawal of my letter of promotion as Director, Civil Engineering/ replacement with letter of promotion as Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, Ministry of Works and Transport were laid before the House by the chairman of the the committee, Hon. Jonathan Agbidyeh and referred by the Speaker to the Committee on Rules and Business for further legislative processing.
