Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari is to proceed on a medical trip to the United Kingdom (UK) today, Tuesday, 30 March, 2021.
A statement issued on Monday by President Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said the visit is for a routine medical check-up.
The statement revealed that the president would on Tuesday’s morning, meet with security chiefs before proceeding on the journey.
It read: “President Muhammadu Buhari proceeds to London, the United Kingdom, Tuesday March 30, 2021, for a routine medical check-up.
“The President meets with Security Chiefs first in the morning, after which he embarks on the journey.
“He is due back in the country during the second week of April, 2021.”
