Illustrious sons of Buruku Local Government have urged the commissioner for Works and Housing in Benue State, Hon. Tiza Imojime to uphold the confidence reposed by Gov. Hyacinth Alia and the people of the local government have in him by appointing him as commissioner.
In their separate remarks during a felicitation visit on the commissioner in his office in Makurdi, recently, they expressed optimism in the ability of the commissioner to deliver in his new assignment.
One of them, Comrade Desmond Ikyume, the (Anongo Tar 1 of Mbaiwan), in his congratulatory message commended Gov. Hyacinth Alia for the appointment of Tombo son from Mbaiwan to head the ministry of Works & Housing and encouraged the Commissioner to work hard so as to uphold the confidence the Governor has in him.
On his part, the MD/CEO NOMIS Multi-media, Mr Arumun Igbudu, commended Hon. Tiza Imojime for the great achievements recorded in the ministry within a short period that he came on board and appreciated the governor for the appointment of Comr. Terhemba Civir Injo Jabi a member of (Buruku Concerned Elites Initiative) as his media aide.
He also drew the attention of the commissioner to the deplorable state of the Tyoambighir – Ortese – Jingir – Uga and Tyogbenda ring road that cuts across the three council wards of Tombo Mbalagh, which was awarded by the previous administration for construction but was later abandoned.
Responding, the commissioner, Hon. Imojime expressed satisfaction over the visit and the love shown to him by his brothers and assured them of his commitment to work.
He said by God’s grace, he will not disappoint his community, Tombo, Buruku, his principal and the entire Benue People and solicited prayers to enable him succeed.
