The Commissioner for Rural Development, Engr Victor Ukaha, has promised to partner with the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Project Monitoring and Evaluation in the area of projects inspection.
Engr Ukaha who stated this when the Special Adviser to the Benue State Governor on Project Monitoring and Evaluation, David Orshi paid him a courtesy call in his office recently. He informed of the efforts of the ministry to construct rural roads and that, the formulae he initiated for such roads to last longer, would be used since most rural roads constructed hardly last for two years.
Earlier in his address, Mr Orshi said, “I am here to familiarize with you since your office is concerned with the nature of work l am doing.”
He assured the commissioner of cordial working relationship with the ministry and called for cooperation, since they are working for the same goal.
