The new Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly, Wuese Orshi has assured the Assembly Press Crew of good working condition and partnership.

He stated this at Doo Palace Hotel, Makurdi during a familiarisation meeting with the crew. Orshi who noted that journalism is a very tasking profession enjoined everyone on the crew to deliver according to the ethics of the profession.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Speaker, Paul Egwurube congratulated Wuese Orshi on his well deserved appointment and expressed optimism that the CPS will address most of the challenges facing the crew.

Head of the Assembly Press Crew, Umar Salifu, in a remark, expressed appreciation to the CPS for organising the meeting. He observed that the meeting was the first of its kind and sign that the CPS will succeed in his new assignment.

Umar highlighted some of the challenges confronting the crew such as lack of office accommodation among others and assurey the CPS of the cooperation of the press crew.
