The Deputy Governor of Niger State, Comr. Yakubu Garba has felicitated with HRH. Alh Yahaya Abubakar, the Etsu Nupe and Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers on the occasion of the Emir’s 71st birthday and 20th anniversary on the throne.
In a congratulatory message signed on Friday by the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Ummikhaltume Abdullahi Kuta, the Deputy Governor extolled the Emir’s “uncommon leadership qualities” and prayed that Allah grants him many more years of service to the people of Bida Emirate, the Nupe Kingdom, Niger State and Nigeria at large.
“As you mark your 71st birthday which comes up on Saturday September 16, 2023 and your 20th anniversary on the throne, I write on behalf of myself and family, to extend warm felicitations to Your Highness.
“As you mark your 20th year of continuous success on the throne as the Emir of Bida, your uncommon leadership qualities and evident faith in the peace, unity, progress, and development of our dear Niger State and people, have combined to make you one of the most highly respected Emirs in Niger State and Nigeria today.
“As you continue to use your exalted throne to build bridges of friendship and harmony across your Emirate, Niger State and Nigeria, it is my prayer that the Almighty Allah grants you many more years of good health, prosperity and enduring fulfillment,” the letter stated.
The Deputy Governor wished the Emir a happy birthday celebration and 20th anniversary on the throne.
