Governor Samuel Ortom has called on the people of Benue State to venture into business initiatives and establishments that can transform the state economically and otherwise.
The Benue State Governor, made the call during the official commissioning of Tito Farmers and Grocery, Makurdi
Governor Ortom who acknowledged the commitment of the President of the Tito Group of Companies, Chief Isaac Akinkumi for his contributions to the development of the state economically, while he noted in particular how many of the companies have employed numerous indigenes of the state, which he described as commendable.
He charged staff of the company not to ruin the commitment of the their employer but work hard to ensure the company move higher to greater heights.
Governor Ortom, particularly urged Benue youths to emulate Chief Akinkumi who came into the state as a corp member, but today, is the employer of labour while he encouraged Tito’s president to redouble his efforts as the state government would continue to provide enabling environment for his investment to thrive.
Earlier, the President of the Tito Group of Companies, Chief Akinkumi who said the Farmers and Grocery is first of its kind in the entire Nigeria, commended the people of Benue State for their hospitality which is part of the reason, his companies are thriving in the state and across the country.
He noted that the commitment, resourcefulness, doggedness and resilience of Governor Ortom had led to numerous development in the state.
