Ten members of the Benue Youth in Prayer (BEYIP) have received cash donations from Wife of Benue State Governor Dr Eunice Ortom, to support their endeavour .
Dr Ortom made the donation on the anniversary thanksgiving celebration of BEYIP, a prayer a platform which she founded four years ago.
She said the donation was a “a seed we are sowing in you. Set your mind to multiply it and God will bless you”, Dr Ortom told the beneficiaries while handing out the donation, at the Chapel of Grace, Benue Peoples house.
Dr Ortom noted that the continuous existence and achievement of the BEYIP since inception is an indication that the initiative was the divine plan of God
She thanked all the youths who have consistently participated in the activities of the group adding that their prayers have been a huge source of strength to Governor Ortom’s administration.
“You have stood strong like the biblical Aaron holding up your hands to ensure that my husband succeeds” she said, adding that the platform will continue to offer different opportunities to youths.
Earlier in a sermon, Pastor Blessed Onah enjoined the youths to be resilient and goal oriented in pursuing their dreams asserting that at God’s destined time, their dreams would be fulfilled
Pastor Onah who is also the special Assistant to the Governor on religious Affairs, praised Dr Ortom for founding the prayer platform which according to him has attracted favours to many youths in the state.
The occasion was celebrated with musical renditions from several gospel artists and as well many praise and worship songs.
Other youths at the event went home with different food items donated by the First Lady.
