The CEO of Garden Share, Aman Japheth in a brief chat with The Voice Business Editor, explains why he had to change to a new packaging of the various spices and other issues.
What informed the change in your packaging?
Actually, I was using the small cups as I listened to their comments, they were in demand for the bigger size that will make them use for a longer period of time. I started thinking on what to do and how to do it, I discovered there was a bigger pack size that can accommodate their demands, I decided to go on this container.
What is the content now compared to the previous one?
The new container contains higher quantity than the previous one, the former one was 40gramms, while the new one is 100gramms, which will be able to serve customers for a longer period of time like three months or more.
What is the official duration of your products?
In the course of my registration with NAFDAC I asked how it will be I was made to understand that as long as there is no moisture in it, the product can last for two years.
How do you promote your product on a bigger scale?
In the area of promotion, I have a Facebook page and I look forward to having connection with other internet access that I can be able to use, like the whatsapp page. Am also trying on how to develop a website which people can browse to see my products to have access to them especially the local spices are not known to other places, some people called me to supply the product to them to take over sea and use.
What are the prices like?
Actually, when the quantity increases and the cost of production is also involved, so based on that some of the products that were sold for between three to eight hundred naira now goes for between seven to two thousand naira due to re-packaging of the product.
