The Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has approved the appointment of Dr. Stephen Terungwa Hwande as the Chief Medical Director of Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi.
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Tersoo Kula says Dr. Hwande, a Consultant Gynecologist of enormous experience was before his appointment, the Medical Director/Chief Executive Officer of First Fertility Hospital, Makurdi.
According to the statement, “It is the belief of His Excellency that as one who is innovative, creative and adventurous, Hwande will fit into his new role to resuscitate, reposition and effectively manage the hospital for effective healthcare service delivery.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
