He expressed appreciation to the people of the zone for their support. “Thank you for the love you showed me and adopted me as the sole candidate of the party during the primaries. I will work for your interest at all times,” he stated.

The governor described the team as “veteran politicians and grassroots mobilizers. They have the capacity to deliver on their assignment. Women and youths will also be selected to be part of the campaign team.”

Governor Ortom, who reiterated his resolve to ensure that peace, justice and fairness prevails in the PDP, noted that the party was united in the state and poised for victory.

He called on the members of the party to remain focused and work hard so that the party would win from bottom to top at the 2023 elections.

Director of the Campaign Organization, Mku, thanked the governor for the confidence reposed in him and assured him of his commitment.

“I will do everything in my power to ensure that you emerge as Senator of Benue North-West as you have qualities that stand you out to offer effective representation, having excelled in your previous assignments.

“The Benue North-West Senatorial District is a familiar terrain to me and we will work hard for your victory. You are contesting as sole candidate without a strong challenger,” he maintained.

While congratulating the local government coordinators, he reminded them they were chosen by their people in trust and should work assiduously for the victory of the party.
