Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has approved the appointment of his Senior Special Assistant on Information, Mr Solomon Ayado as Substantive Editor of The Voice Newspapers.

The governor, in a statement said, the appointment is inline with his vision to make The Voice a dominant online medium in the country, for better information dissemination.

Ayado started his journalism career in 2004 and had worked with various media outfits, including the Nigerian Newsday, The Voice Newspapers, Leadership Newspapers, Businessday Newspapers and The Sun Newspapers, in different capacities as Senior Correspondent, Bureau Chief in the National Assembly and Group Features Editor respectively.

Ayado has attended both local and internationally funded trainings, including those organised by the International Food Research Institute (IFRI) in conjunction with Michigan State University, USA, and is certified in policy communications.
