Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has expressed worries over the prolonged Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) sympathy strike embarked on by the Benue State University (BSU).
The governor, who said he was no longer comfortable with the action stated this Monday at the Benue Peoples House, Makurdi during an expanded caucus meeting of the PDP.
The Academic Staff Union of Universities has been on strike for over five months which the Benue State University joined in sympathy with the Union and were supposed to have resumed.
He expressed displeasure at the prolonged sympathy strike by BSU and called on stakeholders to prevail on the institution to resume academic activities.
The governor said if the Institution continue with the industrial action, it would risk not being paid.
