Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom surprised his aides Friday night when he personally served them food to appreciate them for their services and commitment.
The governor who said he was happy with the conducts of the aides, urged them not to be distracted in the course of discharging their duties and charged them to be focused.
According to him, “whatever things that is committed to our hands should be done with dedication.” He urged the team to learn at all times to forgive one another, while stressing that every service that is being rendered to him is unto God.
He maintained that he will continue to be on the path of righteousness and will never be party to any thing pertaining to injustice.
Governor Ortom condemned the situation whereby, some people are trying to use religion to create problems in the country.
Responding on behalf of the aides, Principal Special Assistant to the governor on Special Duties, Abrahams Kwaghngu, appreciated him for always standing by the team and assured him of the unalloyed support of the team.
He charged everyone working with the governor to live according to the ethics of their profession.
