The Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr Abdullahi Sule has notified the state House of Assembly of his journey to the United States of America (USA) for medical check-up, beginning from 13 December to 29 December, 2020.
The Speaker of the House of Assembly, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, revealed this on Monday while reading Governor Sule’s letter to members of the Assembly at plenary.
The letter, titled: “Notification to Travel to the United States of America” said, the deputy governor, Dr Emmanuel Akabe will oversee the affairs of the state, until the governor returns.
“I wish to inform the Rt. Hon Speaker that I shall be traveling to the United States of America for medical check-up from Sunday, 13th to Saturday, 29th Dec. 2020.
“Accordingly, in my absence, the deputy governor would oversee the affairs of the state pending my return,” the letter read.
