Gunmen abduct student pastor in Plateau

Plateau State Command of the Nigerian Police have confirmed the abduction of a student pastor in the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, ASP Gabriel Ogabah, in a press release issued in Jos, on recently said the police is investigating the incident for possible arrest of the perpetrators.
“The Command received a report of abduction of a student pastor from King’s School, Gana Ropp in Barkin Ladi LGA. Tactical operatives have been deployed to the area. Concerted efforts are on towards rescuing the victim and arresting the perpetrators.”
However, independent sources account that four persons were earlier abducted in the same school early hours of Thursday.
The said Calvary School is about 60 kilometres away from the Yakubu Gowon Airport in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
It will be recalled that four other students of the Plateau State University, Bokkos were earlier this month kidnapped, a male student who struggled with his abductors received a bullet on his hand.
