Benue State Head Of Service, Dr Moses Agbogbo Ode has called on Benue youth to support the Alia administration in its efforts to deliver on the social contract he entered into with Benue people.

Dr Agbogbo Ode made this call Wednesday in his office when members of the Jechira Youth Forum paid him a courtesy call.

The Head of Service who promised to run an open door policy, reiterated that the present administration’s desire is to change the negative narrative about Benue State to a positive one and to live a legacy for future generations.

He added that all hands must be on deck to compliment the governor in his quest to create a new Benue and urged them to pray for the administration to deliver on its campaign promises.

Earlier, leader of the delegation of Jechira Youth Forum comprising members from Vandeikya and Konshisha local government areas, Mr Augustine Mchihi appreciated the governor for appointing Dr Agbogbo Ode to serve in his administration and intimated the Head of Service of the forum’s intention to carry out skills acquisition trainings as well as organise enlightenment programs on the need for the youth to shun social vices by standing against drug abuse, cultism and thuggery.

These, he said, were activities geared towards complimenting government efforts in building a better Benue.

“As youths from the governor’s constituency, we are ready to contribute our quota to the development of the state”, Mchihi stated.

According to a statement signed by the Information Officer, Office of the Head of Service, Dooshima Abuul and made available to The Voice, the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Service Welfare in the Office of the Head of Service, Mr Terna Ayu in his remarks, commended the group for their initiative, most especially the idea behind their intended programs meant to compliment government’s efforts in its drive to develop the state.
