Governor Samuel Ortom has said, the Overall Best Graduating Student at the 34th Convocation of University of Calabar (UniCal), Mr Andrew Wueseter Ijever has made Benue State Government and the people of the state proud with his academic excellence.
Mr Ijever emerged as the Overall Best Graduating Student at the 34th Convocation of UniCal from the Department of Radiography, Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences.
In a statement made available to newsmen by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Terver Akase, the governor stated that, the academic excellence exhibited by Mr Ijever will serve as a source of inspiration to students from the state and other parts of the country.
According to the statement, Governor Ortom urged the young academic to consider his victory as a sign of greater things to come in his career. He encouraged other Benue sons and daughters studying at home and in the Diaspora to emulate Andrew Ijever with commitment and hard work, in order to be able to realise their dreams.
