I”ll construct Branch Atser-Korinya road if elected gov – Uba

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Benue State governorship candidate in the 2023 general election, Titus Uba has assured the people of Konshisha Local Government Area that he will construct Branch Atser-Korinya road if given the mandate to govern the state in 2023.

Uba also assured that, he will do everything possible to construct  Korinya-Awajir road as well, and provide other democratic dividends to the people in the area of health, agriculture, education, security and other sectors.

He made this known Monday when he played host to the people of Konshisha Local Government Area, who were in his residence in Makurdi the Benue State capital for a solidarity visit.

Uba described the people of  Konshisha as his brothers and  sisters, while he described them as good people, who are committed to the development of the state and his victory in 2023.

He added that, out of 36 PDP gubernatorial candidates in Nigeria, he is the only candidate that had less legal tussle, while he ascribed his emergence as the governorship candidate of the ruling PDP in Benue State as one of genuine, free, fair and credible primaries in the state.

Uba, who is also the Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly, called on all former governorship aspirants of the party and particularly from Jechira and Kunav extraction to team up with him to succeed.

He lauded the commitment of his former co-aspirants from Konshisha, Engr Dondo Ahire, Julius Atorough and Terver Akase for their steadfastness, resilience and support to enable him emerge victorious at the forthcoming general elections.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Commissioner for Education, Dr Sarwuan Tarnongu, represented by Special Adviser to the Governor on Legislative Matters, Richard Ujege said, the people of Konshisha Local Government are highly behind Uba to ensure he overwhelmingly comes out victorious at the forthcoming governorship election.

He described Uba as biblical David, who was nobody but God anointed as King over his people and appealed to all to support the God and people approved mandate for development to thrive.

On her part, the Chairman Konshisha LGA, Mrs. Christina Amile-Igyuve expressed her optimism to mobilize full support for Uba and other PDP candidates to succeed.

In an address, Chairman, PDP, Konshisha LGA,Timothy Hwer stated that Konshisha and Vandeikya Local Government are one, while his noted that Uba as a son of Jechira would fill the shoes that, Late Rev. Fr Moses Adasu left in Government House through the provision of giant strides development for the well-being of all.

Addressing the gathering, an elder, Adzer Beke assured the PDP gubernatorial candidate to believe that the people of Konshisha embrace him as their hearthrob and son, affirming that, they will do everything possible with their voter cards to make him Governor of the state in 2023. He appealed to the PDP governorship flag bearer to provide democratic dividends when he gets the mandate.

On his part, another elder, Chado Labar promised unflinching support for the victory of Uba and he assured that, Konshisha would be a oacesetter to his victory while others will follow.

“Remember us when you finally emerge the Benue State Governor in you development agenda of the state,” Labar stated.

On her part, Principal Special Assistant to the Governor on Bureau for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mrs Mwuese Ubebe promised the PDP  gubernatorial candidate that, they will mobilize the women of Konshisha to ensure Uba and other candidates of PDP emerge victorious at the 2023 general elections.

In an address, the former Commissioner for Water Resources and Environment, Engr Dondo Ahire said the people of Konshisha are behind Uba. He added that, they cannot be derailed in their support to ensure he Uba emerges victorious.

On his part, Clement Adzuanongu stated that, the people of Konshisha are dutifully ready to support the candidature of Uba to clich the number one seat in the state.

“Only be resilient, focused and committed to the vision and mission of developing Benue State. We shall stand by you to accomplish all your good plans as the sixth civilian governor of the State,” Adzuanongu maintained.

Addressing the gathering, Ityo Omo-Lele charged Uba to remain focus as people of Konshisha are 100 percent behind him to succeed, as well as emerge victorious as Governor of Benue State.

In an address, on behalf of Members of the Benue State House of Assembly, Member Representing Guma State Constituency, William Ortyom thanked the people of Konshisha for the unalloyed support given to their leader, Uba. He appealed to them to stand by Uba and other PDP candidates to succeed.

Meanwhile, the people of Kunav in Vandeikya Local Government Area have reaffirmed their support for the victory Uba and other PDP candidates in the 2023 general polls.

The Leader of Vandeikya LGA delegation, Iorsur Igeige made the reaffirmation Monday, when they paid solidarity visit on Uba in his Makurdi residence.

“We are here today to assure you of our unreserved support to ensure you come out victorious at the forthcoming 2023 governorship election in Benue State,” Igeige noted.

In their separate speeches, Iorshe Jir, Tume Kighir and Mrs Felicia Yande thanked God for finding a Kunav son worthy to emerge as the governorship candidate of the ruling PDP in the state, even as they promised to mobilize support to ensure his victory.

Speaking on behalf of Assembly members, Member representing Ukum Constituency, Thomas Mlanga appealed to people of Kunav to continue to support Uba to succeed.

Responding, Uba said, he is overwhelmed by the visit of his immediate community, describing the visit as one in a million.

Uba informed the people of Kunav that his victory will be victory for the entire Kunav extraction and Benue State in particular.

He called on all former aspirants, particularly from Kunav extraction to team up with him to come out victorious in 2023. He assured them that, when he emerges Benue State governor he will attract greater development to the area.
