The Benue State Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Prof Moses Ogbaji, has promised to reposition the Agricultural sector in the state in line with the goals of the Alia led administration.
Prof. Ogbaji, who made the promise after he was conducted round the offices at the Ministry headquarters by the Director of Administration and Supply, who is also the covering.
Permanent Secretary, Mr. Nats Adzuu, expressed dismay over the poor condition of some offices and assured that under his watch, the offices would be made conducive to enable the staff perform well.
The commissioner called on staff of the Ministry to redouble their efforts and sued for their unwavering commitment to the service of the Ministry, urging them to embrace farming without depending on the government job alone so that food security situation in Benue State would be everybody’s pride.
Responding on behalf of the staff, the Director of Administration and Supply, Mr .Nats Adzuu, assured him of their unflinching support to enable him succeed.
In a remark, Director of Livestock Services, Dr Edward Amali, pledged their total commitment and support to the commissioner to succeed.
