The Vice Chairman of Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi, Emmanuel Tama has revealed that the management of the club had shortlisted a few names for scrutiny, in a search for a viable Team Manager for Lobi Stars FC.
The Vice Chairman who made the revelation penultimate Saturday, at the funeral of the former Team Manager of the club, Barnabas Imienger, further disclosed that, “the truth of the matter is that we can’t replace Barns but we will look for somebody that would be there for us and oil us well.”
Tama who described the death of the former TM as a great loss of someone he was looking forward to working with closely, said, “we have sat a quite number of times to talk on how we intended to move the club forward but unfortunately, God knows why he took him this soon but we will move on hopefully, his spirit lingers on,” he enthused.
Meanwhile, the vice chairman said, as long as he remained in Lobi Stars, the mother of Barnabas Imienger will be placed on a monthly stipend and the club would also take care of her.
