The Vice Chairman/CEO of Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi, Dominic Iorfa has expressed shock over the sudden demise of a former Technical Adviser of the club, the late Coach Justin Tenger whose sad event occurred yesterday, in Keffi, Nasarawa state of Nigeria, after a brief illness.
Iorfa, in a condolence message to the late Tenger’s family on behalf of the management, staff and players of Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi, described the late Coach of the Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna as a reliable index of football development. He averred that, “Tenger will be remembered for his huge contributions to nation building through football”.
The member of the board of the NPFL who encouraged the Tenger family to look up to God at this moment of grief for consolation, said, “I want you to know that to be absent from the body is to be with the Lord, and you have to understand that he is in a better place”.
He prayed God for his gentle soul to rest peacefully in the bosom of the Lord and also, to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
