Players of JM Liberty FC of Makurdi, have promised that they would in the nearest future make the President and Founder of the club, Jeremiah Avungu know that football business is good and the best, and that he did not make any mistakes by his choice of doing the business. The said, ” we have big plans for the president and the coach, Prince Udofia which we will reserve within our hearts for now”.
The players made their position known in a chat with The Voicesports recently, while expressing gratitude to God for using Avungu, to bring them together to identify and showcase their talents in football, said they would in their individual ways, do their best by ensuring that he enjoyed the fruits of his labour and for the growth of the club. They also commended the manager and head coach, prince Sunday Udofia for his relentless efforts towards ensuring that they achieved their dreams.
In their separate declarations, Sule Wisdom averred that, ” my ambition is to play abroad and I am working hard for that and that is why I have also been training myself personally, apart from the one that I have been receiving from my coach, prince Udofia”.
Wisdom further said, ” when I play abroad and make money, I will come to Nigeria and establish a business and empower the people. I hope and believe that my dream will come true in Jesus name”.
Also speaking, Ambrose Ochigbo said, ” my ambition is to become a professional footballer and play abroad and when that happens, my target would be to help those who were with me when I was struggling “.
Ochigbo continued that, ” I will also help the less privileged in the society, and my target for JM Liberty would be that whenever they need my assistance both financially and otherwise, I would be there. I will even buy a coaster bus for the club”.
On his part Odera Edeh echoed that,” I want to first and foremost, thank God for the opportunity that he has given me to play football particularly, JM Liberty FC of Makurdi. My dream in life has always been to play professional football abroad, and make it big and wide with the hope of targeting to win the hearts of my people in Nigeria, and aiming to play for the national team which remains the best thing footballers in Europe and elsewhere, value most”.
Edeh maintained that, “I will also target helping my team mates to also get teams abroad,” he concluded.
