Following the gruesome murder of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Nasarawa State, Late Philip Shekwo by gunmen, the party has appointed Mr John Mamman as its caretaker committee Chairman for a period of six months.

The appointment of Mr Mamman was made Thursday after a closed door meeting of stakeholders held in Government House, Lafia.

Mr Mamman who hails from Kokona Local Government Area of the state is currently the Special Adviser to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development.
