The Kaduna State government has declared a three-day public holiday, beginning from Wednesday, July 27, 2022 to enable residents of the state complete their voter’s registration exercise.
A statement issued on Tuesday by the Special Adviser to the Governor Nasir El-Rufai on Media & Communication, Muyiwa Adekeye appealed to residents of the state to register to vote before July 31, 2022.
The statement also urged all eligible residents of the state to utilise the opportunity to register and vote during elections.
“The government requests all employers to actively support their staff to register before INEC closes voter registration on 31st July 2022,” the statement concluded.
