Member representing Nasarawa Eggon East Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Mohammed Ibrahim Muluku, has promised to initiate more youth empowerment programmes for economic prosperity of his constituency if re-elected.

Muluku who is the Chairman, House Committee on Planning, Budget and SDGs is seeking re-election in the State House of Assembly on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

He gave the assurance on Tuesday at a meeting with stakeholders and his campaign coordinators in Wakama Ward, Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area of the state.

The lawmaker assured of more opportunities for the youths and solicited the support and votes for himself, Sen. Godiya Akwashiki, Senatorial candidate for Nasarawa North and Alhaji Aliyu Safiyanu, House of Representatives candidate for Akwanga/ Nassarawa Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency of the party to enable them succeed.

He charged his campaign team to be up and doing in ensuring his victory, Sen. Akwashiki and Safiyanu victory in the forthcoming general elections.

“I want to appreciate you all for your support, you have been going to all the nooks and cranny of your ward and beyond campaigning for me.

“I have done my best and still doing my best in the area of education, health, water, agriculture, electricity, solar lights, employment, empowerment, assistance to the orphans, widows and less-privileged ones, among others.

“I want to re-assure you of more dividends of democracy, if given another mandate come February.

“I, therefore urge you to continue to support me, Sen. Akwashiki and Safiyanu to succeed in February and March elections,” he said.

In his remarks, the SDP Chairman Wakama Ward, Mr Paul Umbugadu, lauded the Sen. Akwashiki and Muluku for providing dividends of democracy to the people  of the zone.

Umbugadu said Akwashiki and Muluku have performed well, hence their resolved to work tirelessly for their victory during the forthcoming general elections.

He promised to mobilise support for Muluku, Sen Akwashiki and Safiyanu to enable them succeed in the forthcoming elections.
