As campaign for 2023 General Elections nears kick-off in September, 2022, a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Mike Mku has donated a Toyota SUV to the party’s governorship candidate, Titus Uba.
Chief Mku during the presentation of Toyota SUV to the Benue PDP guber candidate, stated that the main purpose for the donation of the vehicle is to boost his gubernatorial campaign and assured of his victory in the forthcoming election.
Chief Mku, who once served as Senior Special Assistant to former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Human Trafficking and Child Labour made the presentation of the vehicle Tuesday to Uba at his private residence in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
In an address, Uba lauded Chief Mku for the gesture while he also commended him for his unwavering commitment to the growth and stability of the party in the state. He promised to justify the confidence reposed in him by the leadership and members of the party by standing firm to deliver democratic dividends when given the mandate to govern Benue in 2023.
Present at the donation were, Secretary to the Benue State Government, Prof. Anthony Ijohor, SAN, Chief E.K Ashiekaa, SAN and Dr Daniel Mailumo among others.
