A young and promising football star, Nyebe Moses Ngbede has attributed his denial of a work permit ahead of his sealed deal to play for the 1. SC Znojmo FC in Czech Republic, to the will of God.
Moses made the declaration to The VoiceSports recently, after one of his training sessions at the GCM playground in Makurdi Benue State of Nigeria. He said, “even though I was denied the work permit to play in Europe at that time, I believe the opportunity will come again and I’ll exploit it”.
The Back to Back winner of the Highest Goals Scorer HGS and Most Valuable Player MVP Awards in the 2022 and 2023 Ratel’s Benue State Football League, said he has always had the ambition of playing in either Europe or Asia and when 1. SC Znojmo FC signed him and they were later relegated to the Division 3, which with that development they did not have the capacity to sign foreign players, he was denied the work permit but he however, believed that God was preparing a better deal for him and he was working towards it by training very hard and waiting for God to prevail.

Adjudged by football fans across the state as one of the most disciplined player in the Amateur League, Moses said, “the secret behind my level of discipline and humility is my background because my father brought us up, telling us to always respect our elders and constituted authority and also humble ourselves anywhere we find ourselves”.

The dangling goal merchant who noted that the challenges in the grassroots football were enormous being due to the pattern of play, said, ” I am working hard preparatory to the task ahead because it is not easy to go to another man’s land and collect his Jersey”.
