The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi has congratulated the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage ( Rtd) on his fourth anniversary on the throne, describing him as a source of inspiration and blessing to the people of the state.
Abdullahi congratulated the monarch in a statement issued by his press secretary, Jibrin Gwamna, issued and made available to journalists in Lafia on Monday.
He said the Royal Father was role model, pillar and symbol of peace, unity and progress to the people of the state.
“Four years on throne of Retired Justice Sidi Bage Muhammed has brought good things to the State and he remains a source of inspiration and blessing to all,” he said.
The Speaker prayed God to grant him good health, long life, wisdom and protection to consolidate on the solid foundation he has laid so far, while
calling on citizens to give the Emir more support to enable him succeed.
He re-assured of the State House of Assembly’s commitment to give the traditional institution all the needed support for the peace and unity of the state.
