The new Commissioner of Police Benue State Police Command, CP Audu Madaki has assumed duty.
CP Madaki who until his redeployment was Commissioner of Police in charge of Police Welfare, Force Headquarters, Abuja and had served in many states in different capacities.
According to a press release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Benue State Police Command, DSP Catherine Anene, the new CP assured law abiding members in the state of his commitment to provide adequate security and to rid the state of crime, in collaboration with other security agencies and therefore, solicit for cooperation from good people of the state.
In a related development, the former Commissioner of Police Benue State Police Command, CP Mohammed Mukaddas who was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of police (AIG) has been redeployed to Kasina State to take charge of Zone 14.
