The Niger State House of Assembly has announced the names of 30 commissioner nominees sent to it by the state Governor, Umar Mohammed Bago for consideration and confirmation.
The Speaker of the House, Barrister Abdulmalik Sarkin Daji announced this during an emergency sitting held on Thursday in Minna, Niger State capital.
According to him, the nominees are Garba Abdullai Mohammed (Agaie), Hajiya Titi Auta, (Agwara), Suleiman Umar, (Bida one), Hadiza Asabe Muhammed, (Bida Two), Ahmed Baba Suleiman Yumu, (Borgu), Musa Bawa (Bosso) , Nasiru Muazu,( Chanchaga) , Yakubu Kolo, (Edati) , Abdullai Adamu Mamagi, (Gbako) , Binta Mamman, (Gurara) , Yabagi Umaru, (Katcha), Phalal Muhammed Bako, (Kontagora one) Lawal Maikano, (Kontagora Two) , Muazu Hamidu Jantabo, (Lapai) , Mustapha Ndajiwo, (Lavun) , Garba Sabo Yahaya, (Magama), Yahaya Ibrahim Gulbin Boka, Mariga, Abubakar Umar Abule, (Mashegu) , Aminu Takuma, (Mokwa) , Mourice Magaji, (Munya) , Elizabeth Shaba, (Paikoro) and Fatima Adamu, (Rafi) .
Others are Hadiza Idris Kuta, (Shiroro) , Yahaya Alhassan Gwagwa, (Suleja) , Ibrahim Mami Ijah,(Tafa) , Bashar Muhammad Lokogoma, (Wushishi), Dr. Ibrahim Dangana (special designation) , Sanda Umar (special designation )and Suleiman Isah(special designation).
Similarly, the Assembly also received a request from the Governor for approval of 10 additional Special Advisers.
After the adoption of the commissioner nominees names and the special advisers the sitting was therefore adjourned to the next legislative day by the Speaker for further deliberation.
