“I can press down my own blood brother if he is from the opposition party,” he said.
In his remark, the APC North Central Zonal Vice Chairman, Rijau reaffirmed the party’s determination to correct necessary loopholes in the party before the lifting of campaign ban by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
He said his delegation from National Working Committee is on a tour of the North-Central states to interact with party members, stakeholders, women and youths to know where APC stands in the state.
He added that as election process draws closer, all hands must be on deck to deliver the party come 2023.
The state APC Chairman, Haliru Zakari Jikantoro applauded the national body for taking a huge step towards ensuring victory for the party in the up coming election.
Also speaking, APC Chairman in Benue State, Austin Agada commended the party, stressing that the dividends of democracy must surely get to the nooks and crannies of everyone within the shortest period of time.
