The Speaker, Niger State House of Assembly, Barr. AbdulMalik Mohammed Sarkin Daji, has assured the Management team of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) of Assembly’s unflinching support and collaboration.

The speaker disclosed this when he received on a courtesy visit, the management of NTA led by the its new General Manager, Mrs Maryam Salihu in his office on Monday at the Assembly Complex.

“NTA will always be the first to break our news”

AbdulMalik Mohammed also said that the 10th Assembly will collaborate with executive arm under the leadership of Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago to support NTA booster stations for wider coverage.

” I and my other colleagues will partner with NTA Kontagora Station to revive it back on air” he said.

In her remarks the General Manager of Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, Mrs Maryam Salihu said their visit was aimed at seeking collaboration with the State Assembly through partnership and support to be able to spread the activities of the House to the grassroots.

Mrs. Salihu assured the Speaker of NTA’s readiness to amplify the activities of House and all government agencies, hence the need for collaboration in order to get the support of all parties.

The General Manager congratulated the Speaker and his colleagues for their successful inauguration in office.
