Team Nasarawa has won three additional medals at the ongoing National Sports Festival (NSF), in Asaba, Delta State.
The Voice reports that the team had earlier won three medals, including one silver from Para-Table Tennis and two from Taekwondo events (Poomsae Individual and Poomsae Team Event) respectively.
During the competition held on Sunday at the Indoor Sports Hall of Stephen Keshi Stadium, Mohammed Salihu won two medals; silver and bronze respectively in Para-Powerlifting, Male 107kg category for Team Nasarawa.
Similarly, Grace Haruna won bronze medal for the team in the -78kg Female Category in Judo on Sunday.
Haruna defeated Esther Augustine of Delta State and Blessing Obikoya of Ogun State to grab the bronze medal in the -78kg category.
Meanwhile, the kid wonder of Team Nasarawa, Elijah Agada defeated his opponent from Rivers State 2-1 during the Taekwondo event on Sunday.
Agada has since made his way to the finals amidst cheers from fans. He is therefore, set to battle his Lagos State counterpart in the -54kg category.
In Basketball,Team Nasarawa female narrowly beat Team Rivers 26-25 to brighten their chances of progression in the Slam and Dunk game.
In all, Team Nasarawa has now scooped six medals to include two silver and four bronze.
