The Benue State Office of the National Social Investments Programme (NSIP) has postponed the enumeration exercise for the National Home Grown School Feeding Programme in the state.
In a press release on September 27, 2021 and signed by the State Focal Person, NSIP, Dr Terris Damsa, explained that the exercise which was scheduled for, Monday, September 27, 2021 has been postponed with a new date to be communicated soon.
It stated that the reason for the postponement is to allow for adequate preparation for the success of the exercise.
The release reads: “The Benue State Office of the National Social Investments Programme wishes to inform our Cooks, Primary School Head Teachers, Pupils, Parents, and other Stakeholders that the Enumeration Exercise earlier publicized to commence today; Monday 27th September 2021, has been postponed. A new date will be announced in due course.
“The postponement is to ensure that necessary arrangements are put in place towards a hitch-free biometric exercise.
“Desk Officers of the National Home Grown School Feeding Programme in the State have been directed to cascade this information and to work with the Education Secretaries and NYSC Staff in their respective Local Government Areas.”
