Governor Samuel Ortom has condoled the family of the Majority Leader of Benue State House of Assembly, Demian Tyoapine Cheme over the death of his wife, Mrs Roseline Cheme.
“On behalf of my family and the Government of Benue State, I deeply sympathise with Majority Leader of Benue State House of Assembly, Tyoaoine Cheme over the death of his wife,” Governor Ortom said.
In a statement made available to newsmen by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Terver Akase, he described the demise of Mrs Cheme as shocking and quite painful, not only to her family but also to the entire state.
“The late wife of Hon. Cheme was a Godfearing woman who upheld true Christian virtues and related cordially with those who came in contact with her,” he stated.
Governor Ortom consoled the Majority Leader and the entire Cheme family to take solace in the fact that, their wife and mother lived an exemplary life and has gone to be with the Lord. He prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest.
