Benue State Head of Service, Dr. Moses Agbogbo Ode, has solicited for prayers from all and sundry to enable the Alia-led administration surmount challenges and deliver on his campaign promises to Benue people.
According to a press release signed and made available to The Voice by the Information Officer, office of the Head of Service, Dooshima Abuul, the Head of Service made this appeal last Friday in his office while playing host to the people of Agbadu Ochade Kingdom of Igwe Ito, Obi Local Government Area who visited him.
The Head of Service emphasized that hard work and productivity are not only required of the people by the government but also by God, adding that everyone is placed by God in the position we occupy for a purpose and must strive to achieve that purpose, stating that God rewards a diligent worker.
The Head of Service called on the people not to relent in praying fervently for the present administration to deliver dividends of democracy to the people and appreciated the group for the title presented to him and prayed God to reward them.
Earlier, leader of the delegation, ASP David Okwe Ode (RTD) said they were representatives of the maternal parents of the Head of Service and were in his office to congratulate him on his elevation as the Head of Service and also thank the governor of for finding their son worthy of the exalted position and prayed God to guide and direct them in overseeing the affairs of both the Civil Service and the state to record successes.
ASP Ode (RTD) informed the Head of Service that his maternal parents sent them to present to Dr. Agbogbo Ode the title of UGBOJI OLEGA 1 of AGBA OCHADE KINGDOM meaning, the Iroko tree of Agba Ochade Kingdom.
In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Service Welfare in the office of the Head of Service, Mr. Terna Ayu thanked the group for the unity exhibited.
