The Permanent Secretary (PS), Bureau of Administration, office of the Head of Service, Mr Moses Tor Levah recently charged the staff of the bureau to be diligent and uphold the guilding principles of service in the discharge of their duties.
Mr Levah gave this charge in his office while receiving the handing over note from the outgoing Permanent Secretary, Mr Chia Ikuluke and cautioned staff to be committed to their duties and create a harmonious working relationship among them for better service delivery.
“As civil servants, you are required to imbibe honestly, patriotism, accountability, dedication to duty, team work and attitudinal change for the betterment and success of Ortom administration,” he stated.
He expressed happiness for the warm reception accorded him on assumption of duty and thanked Governor Samuel Ortom for the opportunity to serve the state.
In his remark, the outgoing Permanent Secretary, who is on posting at the Local Government Service Commission thanked staff of the bureau for the support he received while serving there and urged them to extend similar co-operation to the incoming Permanent Secretary.
Responding, the Acting Director, Administration and Finance, Mr James Ode pledged on behalf of the staff to extend similar cooperation and support to the permanent secretary to enable him succeed.
Highlight of the occasion was prayer and purification of Mr Leva’s office by Rev. Fr Michael Ayangeakaa for smooth take-off of work with the fear and direction of the Lord in his new assignment.
