Three yet-to-be-identified persons have lost their lives in an accident that also injured seven other persons at Enugu roundabout, Otukpo, Benue State.
The the accident which occurred on Tuesday involved a lorry loaded with food items en route to Kogi State from Kano.
The suspected cause of the crash was a break failure which led to lost of control by the lorry driver, The Voice learnt.
As at the time of filing this report, personnel of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and men of the Nigeria Police, including Inspector William Jamiku, who is in-charge of traffic were at the scene of the accident rendering assistance.
Meanwhile the injured persons are currently receiving treatment at St Daniel Hospital, Otukpo with the dead deposited at the morgue.
