The member representing Keffi East at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Abdulaziz Danladi and former House of Representatives Member and Social Democratic Democratic (SDP) governorship candidate in the last election, Isha’ak Kana who recently decamped from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) were officially received into the party fold on Sunday.
The state Caretaker Committee Chairman of APC, Chief John Mamman, presented the party’s flag to them at an event held at the Emir of Keffi’s Palace in Keffi Local Government Area of the state.
He commended them for taking the right decision in joining the APC and assured them of equal opportunities.
Speaking at the event, the Governor of the state, Engr Abdullahi Sule, hailed them for what he described as the right decision at the right time.
He reassured the people of the state of his commitment to deliver on his campaign promises to the people of the state.
Speaking separately, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and Speaker of the state Assembly, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, who was represented by Information Committee Chairman, Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, said the Western senatorial zone remains the bedrock of APC in the state while calling on others who are yet to join the party to do so.
The event was attended by party stalwarts from across the state.
