The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Senator Abba Moro, has reassured the people of the district that every local government in the area will feel his impact before the end of his first tenure in 2023.

Moro made the promise in Oju Local Government Area of Benue State on Friday while inspecting the grading of Obusa-Ogori road. He  promised to construct the Oru bridge that links to Adokpa Council Ward of the local government.

Commenting on the speed and quality of the ongoing projects, Moro said he was impressed. He called on the benefiting communities to corporate with the contractors and support them to work without harassment and intimidation.

Speaking on behalf of the community, Chief Isaac Agi, of Adokpa Council Ward, said the Oju people, Igede nation and the entire people of Benue South remained grateful to the former minister for all his people-oriented projects and activities on the floor of the Senate. He commended the Senator and pledged the unalloyed support of the people to him.

The lawmaker earlier visited Obi Local Government Area where he inspected the Otukpo-Obi-Oju federal road being rehabilitated by the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), and the Obarike General Hospital road.

At River Obi, linking Ode-Apa Council Ward, the Senator promised to construct a bridge across the river to ease free movement of goods and services in the area.

Correspondent reports that the parliamentarian also  visited  Otukpo where he inspected the ongoing works on Babylon road and Emmanuel Ajogi Avenue, GRA.
