The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Senator Abba Moro, has lamented the death of his constituents due to cholera outbreak in Agatu Local Government Area.
Moro, who called for urgent action to stem the tide, noted that several persons have reportedly died in the local government area over an outbreak of cholera.
A press release signed by Senator Moro’s Special Assistant on Print and Electronic Media, Ameh Godwin and made available to The Voice on Saturday, quotes his principal as commending the Benue State Government for the quick intervention, while calling on all the relevant stakeholders to come together and fight the epidemic.
The lawmaker, further sympathised with the local government and the families of the deceased while praying God to give them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable losses.
